[UA] 5 minutes til glory

I noticed Nick and someone else mentioning how they did minimal planning for
UA games, I'm somewhat curious about what the general methodology is.

I tend to plan on a large scale: What is going on? Then I try to turn 6-10
what is going ons (i.e. Alex Abel has just lost three cells in the bay area
and is a bit scared). Then I come up with some event tied to it. The
player characters will know about an event or two, and as they follow up
those events they'll find out about the others.

This process takes about ten minutes. I then sit down and let the players
do whatever they like given X bits of information.

I've generally found this to be the best way of dealing with the near
limitless options even the most helpless of us have in the modern world.

I'm just curious what others do
