[UA] Yoo-hoo - I'll make you famous

Some of my initial thought about the Dead Presidents has led me to an
interesting Plutomancer-killing device, as follows:

The Depreciator
Significant Artifact
This powerful weapon starts off as a stock-standard side-by-side double barreled
twelve gauge shotgun. The ritual which imbues it with magical power is long,
costly, and expensive, and gives the weapon a strongly totemic look. Ink made
from the ash of burnt 100-dollar bills is used to paint arcane symbols all over
the grip, the barrels are shrouded in the economic section of a daily paper, and
coins are flattened with a steam press or on train tracks and glued or riveted
to the stock. Finally, the weapon is loaded with a handful of small change held
in with a wad of bills. This 'ammunition' is consumed as normal ammo would be.

When the Depreciator is fired at an avatar of the Merchant, or a Plutomancer,
the wielder can flip-flop any damage result that falls under the target's
relevant skill. In addition, for each minor charge held by the target, the gun
does +3 damage; for each significant charge, an extra die may be rolled and the
damage assembled from this result. Of course, the coin attack negates the
highest channel of the Merchant archetype.

The creator of a depreciator may not conduct any transactions whatsoever while
he or she owns the gun. If he or she does, the weapon explodes in their hands
the next time it is used. He or she may make a new Depreciator, but they may
never use that weapon again. A Depreciator only works for the person who crafted
it.
