[UA] The True Church of Satan

I introduced the Sleepers subtly.  I had the PCs
investigate a kidnapped daughter of a politician.  Said
politician doesn't want to get the police involved because
of her lifestyle.  

Turns out that she was kidnapped by a poser cult led by a
charismatic demagogue.  I didn't even plan on him being an
avatar or such--just some sadistic freak who got off on
being revered as a cult leader.  The group finds out
through underground contacts where the sacrifice of the
daughter is supposed to take place.  

They show up before anyone from the cult.  They investigate
this abandoned warehouse and find a hidden room where the
leader's buddy manipulates lights and things on wires.  As
they investigated, they come across two other people who
are investigating.  Naturally, guns are drawn and a lot of
"Who the hell are you" accusations are thrown.  When things
settle down, the two people look at the wires, mutter "This
is no real threat," and leave the site.  

The fact that the investigators know a human sacrifice is
planned, yet dismisses it entirely, makes the group a bit
nervous.  Eventually, the policeman of the group recognizes
a new guy on the force.  It's one of the investigators. 
So, he keeps an eye on the new guy.

I didn't get too much farther in the campaign, but I
thought it was a subtle insertion of Sleepers.  The PCs had
no idea these two people were part of a vast conspiracy to
suppress magickal knowledge.
