Well, this is highly UAble, in a voodoo kind of way.
Sorry to hi-jack this serious post for morbid RPGisms.
Young screwed-up kid associates one adult for each of
her five fingers on her left hand (just like the
social worker said). Uncle Joey is the pinkie, Aunt
Esmeralda the birdie finger, etc...
But none of these adults actually help her in her time
of need. Or maybe they all betray her. So she decides
to get back at them.
The YSUKid vanishes for a few days. And then first to
die is Uncle Joey, heart attack from one too many
greasy polish sausages ... then Aunt Esmeralda in a
freak car accident ... and the remaining adults are
frantic. But will they find the YSUKid before she
finishes cutting off the rest of her fingers?
OR...
Somebody has kidnapped her, chopping off her
fingers...
OR...
Or the YSUKid takes the advice to heart. Associate a
person with a finger. Why not just make the person
into the finger? So the first compassionate adult she
meets finds out the price of compassion--to have their
soul locked away in the child's finger. Now the YSUKid
can talk away, because she'll never be lonely
again...she's surrounded with a whole crowd of people,
but she wants to get more, and more people. Once alone
in the world she now is the center of attention, all
the time. How many people have to vanish before
somebody stops her? And how are those trapped within
her body ever getting back out?
Anyway, that bit just jumped my triggers.
Thanks,
Steve Dustin
