Roger, let me give you my angle. I've only been attacked by a paranoid
depressive once, but I'd not wish it on anyone. That I later found out our
third flatmate was aware he had a serious mental illness, and had gone off
his stabilization drugs, but chose not to tell me because they were bestbuds
and she didn't want a hole in the weekly rent bill mollified me not at all.
I feel vast sympathy for your friend, because he is clearly ill, but the
idea that the people you don't know don't matter? Sorry, as one of the
people who has previously been flagged as an extra in someone's little life
drama, I'm barracking for the oblivious victim.
