  So *anyway*... uh, greetings to you too, whoever started this thread!
Isn't 
  it odd that although the Naked Goddess has ascended, her chief worshippers

  haven't managed to become avatars?

Not really, considering that no one is trying to be like her.  They're
trying to simulate verbatem what happened in her movies.  None of them are
trying to be porn stars (or even actresses) none of them are concerned with
what her motivations or behaviors were.  They just want to duplicate exactly
moments in her life.  

The Avatar is about a way of being.  The adept is about the act.

I still think in the back of my mind, she was the woman that Abel was seeing
before the fall of the keys.  But I don't know why other than there's a
cosmic poetry there, and I think the cosmic order should be beautiful.
