Yep, at the beginning of my (now defunct) UA campaign everybody thumbed 
through the book a little so the players could decide where they wanted to 
go with the game.  I had read the book before (being the only person besides 
the GM to own a copy) and I suggested they just look through the sample 
NPCs. Everyone wanted to be an agent of the House.
