[UA] How to make a Villain and still be a Hero 101

Actually, there could be one way to still follow the Hero
path (if you implement such in your UA campaign).
Everything that you do is for the greater good yet still
hurts someone.
What if, in saving a busload of children, your actions
cause an accident paralyzing the driver?
What if the bomb that you removed from the school exploded
in a isolated area, injuring the few in the vicinity?
What if exposing the safety hazard at the nuclear plant
causes an employee to lose his job because the responsible
people created a scapegoat?
What if all these items coincidentally occurred so that the
sum of the experiences creates a bitter person bent on
revenge against society?
What if someone could orchestrate such a coincidence?
Okay, it's a long shot. But if a hero felt like he had to
create a villain, he could literally stalk the
villain-to-be and do good around the villain in an attempt
to put problems on him instead.
It'd be a long shot, but then ascending into the IC isn't
easy.
In the long run, there is still a problem. Sure, you could
save 20 people in 10 different instances just to hurt this
one guy. But that one guy might become bitter enough to
kill 3000 people, outweighing the acts of goodness.
Depends on whether the cosmos pays attention to things that
far in advance or not.
Just an idea.
Kevin

Beavis & Butthead do not cause fires; stupid people do. Role-playing games do not cause mass cultish suicides; stupid people do. Homosexuality does not lead to societal and moral decay; stupid people do. God does not condemn or place false blame on these things; stupid people do.
