[UA] Dead bad guys

Yeah, I base the effectiveness of the rules based on "If I
apply these rules to a movie with Clint Eastwood and a
primate, will anyone die?"  

I forgot how exactly UA works, but I know that in Over The
Edge, if you go to 0 hit points, then it's up the GM
whether you are unconscious or killed.  Basically, if
you've been punched or hit with a chair, then you're
knocked out.  If you've been shot, then you're dead.

Also, in Over the Edge, you get back half your damage after
a fight.  Half of it is real damage (lacerations and
contusions) while the other half is shock that goes away
when you get your bearings.  

Same could be applied to UA.  I can't remember if that's in
place or not.  I'm thinking the half-damage rule is in
place.  I couldn't tell you without my book being here.

The GM keeps track of damage anyway, so it's up to him to
gauge the progress and type of damage.  And since the GM
can bullshit all he wants, he can treat two people
differently.  Say two dukes take 50 points in a fight.  One
got 50 points of pimp-slapping bad-ass kung-fu fighting. 
The other got 50 points of lead.  After two days, the
brawler only has 10 points of damage while the pincushion
still suffers with 40 points of damage.  

At least, that's what I would do.
