There's a part everyone also seems to be skipping
around. The guy claims that the woman in the Cookie
Monster suit pushed his three-year-old daughter by the
head. Man, if a guy in a costume had pushed me around
when I was a kid, my Dad would've ripped off his big
doofy mask and knocked the bastard's block off, woman
or no woman. Well, actually, he probably would have
chewed her another asshole, but THEN it would have
come down to blows, from the sounds of things.

Someone mentioned fictional Iconomancy before. I used
the idea in a recent Ben Con game I ran, but just to
acheive a sort of weird angle on channelling Vincent
Price (my players caught me on it, too, and did a
great job using the dichotomy between what an actor
portrays on screen and who he really was to good
effect.)
I certainly like the idea of channelling the fictional
aspects of a person, it's like bringing their work to
life and it gives the GM a lot of cheap short cuts.
But, whenever cheap short cuts become available,
another problem arises. It takes a specialized palette
to appreciate cheap.
