Every once in a while I'm attracted to this sort of idea. Depending no the characters involved, it could make for an interesting GMC

Yeah, I was imagining the attacking a guy in a Cookie Monster suit was some way to get the the 'real' CM, as you couldn't beat up a real puppet (even if he made it into the studio and attacked one of the CM puppets, there's several more).

The Masterless man isn't just doing that to be evil, though. He has some goal in mind, which he thinks is 'good' and happens to conflict with the adept's. This is not to say it's necessarily justified, just that two different views of good tend to create more violence in the world than anything else (I tend to agree with Aristotle who wrote that every action aims at some 'good', though people may not consciously describe it that way). The muppets all are trying to do good, but each tries for a different sort of good. Ernie's desire for mischief and fun regularly comes in conflict with Bert's desire for calmness, order and pigeons. Really, this conflict is only a matter of degree.

Some of that ranged into sort of on-topic. wow. Mainly the stuff without muppets.
