One of the ideas I had for a UA clueless cabal was a demon posessing some sort of mechanical idol with a television for a head (there's an illustration in hte main book of something similar to what I imagine) and starting a cult.  
He was claiming to be a voice from the future, and to predict future events, but in reality he was just a good guesser and trying to spread disinformation and/or get power (I imagine vaguely him being a dead Cryptomancer who's still spreading lies from beyond the grave)
