Who do people in the OU quote? I don't think that Dirk Allen has written
anything, but surely LaVey is getting a bit passe with the clued-in cabals.
If I was running a cabal, I might dub it The true Order of the Madame
Blavatsky - partly as a joke, partly as cover. That woman had some wacky
ideas.
(I've written Blavatsky's ghost - possessing Colonel HS Olcott - as a
Storyteller character).

>>>That reminds me. A lot of people on this list (a lot of people on the
internet, in fact) have signature lines with quotes in them.<<<
I quote John Mangrum not because his sentiment really says anything about my
opinions, but because A) it was so damn funny, and B) he wrote it on a
message board, so if somebody didn't quote him it would soon be lost
forever.
>>>I can't remember who it is, but my favourite so far has been "Anything
said in Latin sounds profound."<<<
I've seen that; it typically accompanies the Latin version.
The most amusing Latin quote that I've ever seen (I have it scribbled in one
of my dozens of notebooks) translates as "Excuse me, I've got to see a man
about a dog."
I think that somebody English wrote that one.
Cheers,
