My favorite view on the Fountain of Youth Theme is
that it gives you a second chance, but you make the
same mistakes all over again.  Taking a page from /Dr.
Heidegger's Experiment/ (and watering it down with
some /Momento/), you could have that same youth
turning to the PCs for help in deciphering some
adult-oriented clues.  The clues turn out to be the
older version of this kid sending a message to
himself.

The warning is simple:  You can't regain your lost
innocence, but you can forget everything you ever new
and live through the traumas of childhood over and
over again.  Get off the cycle before I rejuvenate again!
