I'm a Philosophy student. I've got this horrible, horrible compulsion to
cite and quote. It's getting worse. I just hope graduation helps me kick
the habit cold turkey, because I think I'm going to need a couple of months
of withdrawl from academia before I feel like i canget away with writing
more than a paragraph without a footnote, citation, or snide aside.

Avatar: Slacker Philosophy Student: 98%. Must get away before I ascend...

PS (obUA): Do avatars only compete for advancement at the jump from 98 to
99%? Or, er... 95 to 96, or whichever? It only seems to be competition for
the Godwalker slot. But I imagine that, for Avatars where the Avatar is in
contest (Like the Messenger), there may be little cults around the different
interpretations - where someone channeling at 89% would want the help of
someone at 91% to knock someone out of the 90% slot for them.

Make sense? Hope so.

("Look, Ma! No quotes!")

PPS: Lord knows no offense is meant - I am but a humble disciple of His
Grand High Oyabun, the Stolze.
