saints preserve us. with herbert and moreau working together surely it would
only be a matter of time before stuart anderson's "john dillinger's
knob/monkey combo" would be a hideous reality.

i think CoC characters and places make great UA material. the only
difference is that they really are just crazy people, rather than correct
about the elder gods and such like. doesn't make them any less fun to play.
though you could maybe mix in some old ones cults who are basically
worshipping the IC without realising it (after all, the archetypes can fit
the role of "inhuman gods" pretty well).
