I mentioned Lone Wolf and Cub once a while ago... It's good and keeps getting better.

Part of my reason for suggesting it was also to steal plots and themes and ideas from Usagi Yojimbo, which happens to have an rpg based off it by our own Mr. Stolze and is kind of like LW&C with less blood and more rabbits.  The key would be leave the rabbits and keep the UAish bits.
