Well, I wasn't going to participate in yet another tedious
incarnation of this deeply off-topic thread, but in the face of that
statement, and bearing in mind the Christian injunction to testify:

I'm a Christian. (For taxonomers, I'm a Presbyterian.) I'm not sure
how Christian it is to be "proud of it" -- especially since, in my
case, most of the heavy lifting that made me one was done by other
people. Christ had some fairly harsh words for people who were
"proud" in their religion, but I have less than zero *shame*, and
immense satisfaction, peace, fulfillment, and what Lewis called Joy,
in it.

"Hey, Hite, your post is off topic."

Well, *duh.*

P.S. I thought Danielewski was okay, but far from All That, much less
the bag of chips. Admittedly, I skipped around a lot, but as Sam
Goldwyn once said, "Sleeping isn't an opinion?" Greg's snide
comparison with reading Ligotti and then watching BLAIR WITCH may not
be entirely fair or accurate, but it would likely make for a superior
experience.

P.P.S. ObUA: I find that mining Christian, and specifically Catholic,
lore and imagery for horror and "unnatural" stuff pays immense
dividends IMUAC, but then my players include at least three Catholics
and a Lutheran.
