You'd be amazed.  It really depends on how charges work.  If it's like
dipsomancy where using the same drug with different tools (the same needle
Elvis shot himself up with...) there are junkies I know who've been using
the same drugs since 1962.  Now, if you can't sober up, they may be dead in
2-3 years, depending what drugs they use.  If they have to "experiment" with
new cocktails constantly.  They may be dead inside of 6 months.
