People keep saying that, and yet I thought that The Avengers was a load of 
fun. Sean Connery's crazed villain offering tea to an investigator? 
Supervillains conducting their secret meeting in teddy bear costumes? A 
henchman who drives a Minor! Uma's catsuit gets the attention of my best 
friend, although I was too busy wishing I could fight like Fiennes to 
notice.

I suppose you have to approach the film with a certain sense of humour. 
Eddie Izzard makes a great henchman, though - I also loved the Disco Boys in 
Mystery Men. If I was a supervillain in need of henchmen, I know who I'd 
call.

It's pretty easy to run UA with ironic violence, but how about ironic 
humour? With all of the weird folks in the OU, where would a pinstriped suit 
and bowler hat fit in?

Oooh... the cherries that you could pick for a Fight with Swords and 
Umbrellas obsession skill...
