This reminds me of a Delta Green game I ran last year. The players were on a
hunt for what they thought was an alien shapeshifter. They thought wrong -
they were seriously creeped out, when they finaly discovered the "alien's"
hideout and in it a wall decorated with almost a hundred masks, made of
human faces. The faces were constanly twitching and grimacing, their muscles
contracting randomly to create expressions not known to man. They were kept
"alive" by magic - the shapeshifter was in fact a psycho, a sorcerer who
killed people and ripped off their faces to assume their identities.
