I once had an idea for a child (or maybe a midget) adept trying to impersonate an normal sized adult using a balloon with a smiley face drawn on it and a bit of magick.

The scene reminds me of the bits in The Maxx where Maxx would realize the Isz is not a real human, but rather a weird little black ball with teeth disguised as a grandmother.  

Come to think of it, The Maxx might be more UA-able than it seems at first, as the whole thing is sort of trauma induced fantasies intersecting with reality.  Plus, a superhero (or a gardener, or a variety of other things) living in a cardboard box.
