I'm saying that the last members of the Godhead didn't want ot be forgotten,
so they bury themselves in the fertile soil of the unconcious, or use some
other systemic method which allows them to be remembered.

We could get them again, but if the idea of the Universe is to progress, one
of the Count's roles might be to ensure that fewer people held onto the
watermarks this time.  We had a Pecos Bill last time, we had giants last
time, we had Harry Potter last time, and that means that if the universe is
to progress, no-one gets to be Pecos Bill or a giant or Harry this time.
