He's only one archetype, and could be voted out by the others (or however it's determined in the IC).  The whole thing makes me question who ascended last time and gave us this world, though.  Were they a bunch of Hitlers, rapists and murderers?  or were they a bunch of good, decent folks?  is this the best or worst of possible worlds, and would that be a good thing or a bad thing*?
