God, I've never really thought about that. That really turns Dipsos with
vessels into powerhouses, huh? How do people handle this in games?

The whole "historical vessel" thing never sat well with me. That's what
Cliomancy's about, right? I'd be more inclined to go for a Sig-charging
ritual like Oneiromancy*: same as a minor, but up the degree. For
instance, a Sig Dipso charge might involve downing five drinks all at
once (a fifth of liquor, etc.), with accompanying penalties and maybe
extra health checks to make sure you don't vomit/pass out/etc?

This would help to separate the "hard-code" drinkers from the more
cautious ones, which is what minor/sig charges are supposed to do IMO.
Dipsomancy is about losing control -- the more inappropriate and
disabling the behavior, the more powerful the charge.

* [Note: I'm not a great fan of Oneiromancy's charge-gathering either.
Has anyone played with those rules? It strikes me that most of the
significant spells would be impossible to cast, requiring several days
of successful hourly checks against Body-minus-200 or something.]
