Okay, point conceded. Having a human being having control over a facet of
the universe does open up a problematic can of worms. However, I think the
basic idea is still sound, an Agent picking and choosing 'victims' for a
Room based on his own needs rather than the Room's, but perhaps the idea of
an Agent deliberatly changing the room is bad. I could easily make the
Entropic Stair simply lead to Oblivion and lower the Room's 'domain' to
simple entropy, but that opens up another question - is there a Room of
Order somewhere?
> I like the idea suggested in the agent's background of an entropomancer
(or any adept I suppose) who goes into a coma while obtaining a major
charge. I imagine that could make for some interesting stories in itself,
as some other adept decides it's too hard to get a major charge himself,
and as long as the bodybag's just laying in a coma, he won't miss it,
right? So someone finds a ritual or spell to steal charges from other
adepts (kleptomancers can do something like this, right? I forget how it
works, though) and goes after it. Some other group also tries to get the
charge, while the Sleepers want to just off the guy (to get rid of the
possibility of misusing the charge).
I like this idea and I wish I'd thought of it before I'd written most of
this adventure. *sigh* Massive backpedaling in order.
