Hell, that's South Park.  I mean, c'mon, Jesus lives in town (and celebrates
his birthday alone...sigh).

Totally.  There was a time not long ago when "it was all a dream" wasn't a
cop-out, when dreams were expected to have their own reality, and the events
in dreams really did have repercussions.  Like or hate the new season of The
X-Files, they actually twigged on something that I've toyed with in the
past--the idea that, when you shoot someone everyone tells you is a monster,
but looks like a little boy, your mind goes through all the psychic trauma
of making the decision to shoot a little boy.
