Yeah, I had a fantastic visual with this.  The Group charges into the room,
most bleeding profusely, one from the stump that was his arm south of the
elbow.  One of the few unscarred characters bitch-slaps the Comte, sending
him sprawling.  She pulls her Desert Eagle from its holster, and holds the
gun up to the Comte's temple.  He stares up at her, and a single tear
creases his cheek.  Her jaw sets, her eyes narrow with the knowledge of how
badly cordite stings.  She wonders for a moment just how much blowback with
splatter her face.  It'll be a Kodak moment for sure.  She squeezes...
    His face goes blank in that agonized second, then flashes confusion,
fear, panic and dread.  He opens his mouth, presumably to scream something
undignified, but she doesn't care.  She pulls the trigger.
    Before the body hits the floor,  she ejects the clip, checks the total,
smiles, and slams it home.  She waits a split second for the tension to ease
in the hearts and bodies of her allies, then she snaps off two or three
rounds into each of them.  They never see it coming.
    No one ever does.
