  I've long argued that this is the purpose of biographies and
autobiographies, and why I don't read them - they're attempts to
replicate some or all of your personality into the host minds of your
readers.  It's a low-tech version of the War of the Memes (c.f. John
Barnes, _Kaleidescope Century_ and _Candle_).

  You could make a school of magic for this, but it'd be better as a
ritual or an artifact, perhaps.
