The whole thing was a reaction to John Wick, who at one time took it as his 
mantra that "game designers deserve to be treated more like rock stars" 
since they were afforded so little respect.

As a former music industry insider (actually just junior anr rep) I just 
blew up and spewed it all up after The Wick's latest "article."
