I could never really enjoy reading fiction for some reason. Even the much
lauded Foucalt's Pendulum failed to capture my attention. However I've
gotten all my vibe for UA from hanging out with real world crazies who dig
on the occult. Maybe that's why the Sleepers are an urban myth crossed with
an imitation of a conspiracy (think of A:A:) when I run the thing. One
thing I've noticed is that most of them I know use scads of free e-mail
addies and a decent number have mailboxes rented with stupid obviously fake
names. Most are not as cognizant as Phil Hine (who may or may not be
connected with members of this list), and many have trouble dealing with
normal people for a few reasons, mainly assuming that all the occult lore
and sociology they immerse themselves in is common knowlege and general
delusions.
It's hella educational and doesn't take that long.
