Whew.  If you'd pronounced it correctly, I'da been freaked.  (The terminal
e is not silent, but everyone thinks it is.  And then when I tell them
there's a long e at the end of my name, they always stress it, so it
becomes 'stol-ZEE' instead of 'STOL-zee'.

I'd known Martha -- the woman I eventually married -- for two years before
she mentioned that she'd read and enjoyed _Alan Mendelsohn_.  That was when
I started to think "Hm, there's more to this girl than meets the eye..."
