If it's truly famous, it generates a significant charge a day. I don't
think Bluff Creek qualifies. To those people deeply concerned with bigfoot,
it's famous, otherwise, it isn't. It's a judgement call, but I think that
you really need something more people have heard of than not. The
metropolitan operahouse, Carnegie Hall, the Statue of Liberty, Graceland,
Grand Central Station, Disneyland, Yellowstone, these places qualify.

In light of fourty-thousand movies that have pulled it into the general
conciousness, the military base near Roswell may qualify. Bluff Creek has
little interest to those not specifically interested in Bigfoot, and even
though everyone has heard of bigfoot, many of them haven't heard of Bluff
Creek. The fact that it's the most famous place in Northern California, a
statement I dispute, doesn't make it famous. The most famous place in the
middle of a particular desert in Mexico is a little crossroad with a small
plant there and a sign "dame agua." Everyone in the region knows where it
is, and it's a tourist attraction. It isn't worth a significant charge
either. The most famous place historically in bar harbor is Campabello
Island (FDR had a house there that now is a tourist attraction) again, that
isn't enough. The average person hasn't heard of it.

I also say the cliomancer has to personally and directly interact with a
sight, (no driving by in a car, seeing it from a passing train, etc.). But
that isn't specified per se.
