Because we expect you to read a copy of John Birmingham' amazing book LEVIATHAN: AN
UNAUTHORIZED BIOGRAPHY OF SYDNEY.  It has details on Arthur Stace, as well as many
other less than sane people.  Great book.

I didn't watch the opening ceremony.  I'm so fucking sick of the Olympics, after 2
years of non-stop hype, that I'm just avoiding the entire thing.

(Not quite true, actually; I caught glimpses when my flatmates were watching it.  I
saw Yothu Yindi performing in traditional dress, which was very cool.  I also saw a
giant banner with "G'day" scrawled on it, at which point we changed channel.)
