Your mundanity could work like your Sleeper/Paradox
effect from Mage: The Ascension. The Mundanomancer
works on intergrally negative charges. When he sees a
magic effect he absorbs one charge, cancelling a
negative charge. The sucking up of the charge slaps
the sorcerer like a magic blast. Once the
mundanomancer reaches zero charge, he is sated.
Perhaps failing sanity checks, or investigating weird
events, or maybe are drawn to highly magical duels by
synchronicity; the mundanomancers get the negative
charges and feel the hollow inside that needs to be
filled. They would not be able to use magic, but are
the  universes mines.
