[UA] The "Dukes" of Hazzard

Hidey-ho.

You know what's coming; you saw it in the subject line.

The Guys Sans Tom-Bomb and I were sitting around on Friday
night, chewin' the fat, and we were talking about maybe starting
a new UA campaign, using options from the newer books ("newer"
in this case meaning "PMM and later") at the street-level, not
as over-the-top Feng Shui pulpy, but focusing on the themes of
Heroism, Sacrifice, and Responsibility. We'll probably
incorporate two minor house rules: use double stat points to
purchase skills and the addition of a "defense" roll to combat
(opposed struggle rolls, or firearms vs. dodge).

In getting to this point, we brought up and discarded a whole
bunch of UA campaign setting ideas, one of which was...

(drum roll)

The "Dukes" of Hazzard

It's all about a War, between former allies Boss Hogg and Uncle
Jesse. Here's how it shakes out:

Bo & Luke: They're good candidates for being either
Entropomancers, Rebels, or Tricksters.

Uncle Jesse: Dipsomancer. Hey, he was a bootlegger-- he has a
still, man!

Daisy: Avatar of the Flying Woman. Symbolic reinforcement from
the Eagle painted on the hood of her Jeep.

Boss Hogg: Plutomancer. Did you have any doubts? Also probably
bucking for the True King of Hazzard County.

Roscoe P. Coltrane: The Fool.

Enos: The Necessary Servant.

Cletus: An additional Fool.

Lulubelle Hogg: The Devouring Mother.

*Think* about it-- it's oh so clear, isn't it?
