Funny thing, I didn't know the name in English, it's been translated to
something like "The God coming from Centauri"... One of my favourites from
Dick, second only to the High Castle. Really really weird. Now you can
really have God (and I mean, _not_ the ST) talking directly to your players.
Cool!
To bounce in completely another direction, there are just days when everything
seems to fit. I was bored, and tried to play some pinball game on my computer
on saturday. Normally I'm quite good, but I did three very bad games in a row,
so I thought I'd better go out. I managed to get some tickets for Moby, even
though a vendor told me it was old out. Then I found a comics shop downtown
that I never noticed before. It turns out they have a lot of back issues of
Sandman (good for my collection), the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and
Mage: The Hero Defined. _And_ they have RPGs, and Hush Hush is on its way.
Sometimes I just can't believe it :)
Anyway, I read the 1st series of M:tHD (hehehe :), and somehow I could really
imagine that in a UA game. A bit too heroic, but a Janis-Joplin-like Isis,
married to a giant in a magickally-big-house, this same giant being attacked
by goblins on flying skateboards, well, that's definitely cool. Did someone
already thought on a "The Once and Future King" story for UA? And won't Tynes
do with UA what he did with CoC (see The Golden Dawn)? The thing is, I just
like to put a little bit of arthurian folklore in each and every story...
