Nah...that's pretty superficial. You've got strange stuff down here. I
live in St. Mary's, which has some downright country regions, but at the
same time we've got Lexington Park and NAVAIR headquarters on the base,
which is just huge. The juxtaposition of the two is great for a UA game.
At the same time, you've got an area heavily mired in the supernatural
with the Mudd House (haunted by the doctor who helped John Wilkes Booth),
Point Lookout was a concentration camp in the Civil War--and this is just
this area. _Every_ rural area I've ever been to has this kind of rich soil
for gaming, if you just look for it. (I loved Idaho for that reason...)

Actually, everyone I talk to from there calls it "Worshinton." But they
also call La Plata "La Play-tah" so what can you do? Still, DC (sorry,
dude) has awesome occult significance. Besides being the seat of power for
the US, you've got the whole of L'Enfant's occult geometry of the area, the
Masonic Temple, Arlington Cemetery, the Monument (there's got to be
something occult about it) all of the Museums (including the Army Hospital
Museum which has the bullet that cacked Lincoln.) Yeah, this area is full
of UA-able material.
