Hmm, I've been thinking of working on Cumberland, Maryland as a UA
location ever since "Towns Without Pity" was first mentioned.  FYI,
Cumberland is _technically_ a city.  Of course, having lived there, I
know it's just pretending.  So, you've got a small "run down/seen better
days/let's try and revitalize with tourism" urban area with plenty of
_really_ rural areas that makes Deliverance look like Bambi (before all
the bad stuff happens).

Plus, I'm pretty sure high school football is a form of magick down
there (Go ALCO!)

There are plenty of places like this around the country (and probably
the world): small and isolated, but urban locations with the population
still "countryside savvy" due to hunting and what have you.  Possibly
the best kind of place for any setting.  You have can have all sorts of
neat locations within an hours drive.  Terrorize your players in a swamp
one session, then let them fight it out with the good ol' boys down at
Emma's Bar the next.  Just don't tell them those good ol' boys worship
the thing in the swamp they just killed...
