[UA] Vile idea I need help with

Comrades --

On a local talk radio station, I heard a little blurb/ad/promo for one of
the shows, which I will approximately reproduce as background for an idea
I had:

* Caller: I listen to Dave's show in the morning for my liberal
perspective, and yours for my conservative perspective.

* Host: Oh, Dave's pulled the wool over your eyes. He lives on Mercer
Island [a local yuppie commune]. He rides a limo powered by orphans.

"A limo powered by orphans." And I suddenly had this vision of a group of
UA characters waiting on a street corner for some reason or other, and
this limo goes screaming by -- literally. It just makes that one cameo
appearance at first, but it shows up more and more frequently until the
characters finally encounter the Big Bad Villain who rides in it, and
eventually they have reason (and opportunity) to look under the hood....

So my question: What could possibly motivate someone to get a limo that
is powered by orphans? The closest I could come is some twisted analogue
of the big robber barons of the 19th century who would (supposedly) light
their cigars with 100 dollar bills, just because they could.

Awaiting the twisted wisdom of the UA list --
