I played a demo, and I recall to have read the solution in some
magazine. It was a graphic adventure (like Monkey Island or King's
Quest, picking and using objects and stuff like that) and you have to
play every character trapped in one of the computer twisted games, based
in their former lives. The plot was the most disturbing thing I've ever
seen in a graphic adventure (IIRC one of the characters was a war
criminal trying to atone, and another character had to kill his
relatives and finally kill himself). 

Then the computer revives all of them, and the characters discover why
they are kept alive: At a subsconscious level, the computer hates itself
and wants to be destroyed. So one of them gets a chance to destroy it.
