No but I got someone else's deposit.  The former tenant didn't clean out the 
freezer or the overn or the shower and the landlord didn't either.  I called 
the landlord on it and demanded that he bring in a cleaning service at once 
or give me the prior tenant's deposit to reimburse me for my time.  I got 
half the deposit though I didn't get any of MY deposit back.

Providing access to a home for money allows you to get money without having 
to give up what you have.  It's perfect for minor plutomancers who would 
lose their charges for actually parting with their property.  Of course they 
would violate taboo by giving you back your deposit so they don't.

Plutomacers are just bastards that way.
