This is OT, but was it Dick or R A Lafferty that wrote the story about retroactive abortions being legal until the child could do algebra, and trucks would prowl through neighborhoods to take kids to the pound, and the kids were in the truck wondering if they could do this to helpless kids, how long would it be before they started doing it to helpless dogs and cats? I need it as a reference, and
I can't for the life of me remember where I read it.
