Hello chaps

Recently got UA and after a few reads the following thought has occurred to
me:

So magic in UA works because of the intensity of the adept's own beliefs
about what's possible, right?  This is the reason for only being able to
follow one school, which is fine and dandy.

My question is, what happens when an Adept is confronted by someone doing
magic in a *different* way to themselves?  Wouldn't that be a bit of a
world-shaker?  Seems a Self test or somesuch might be in order to deal with
the fact that, despite the furious certainty of your beliefs the world is
demonstrating itself to *not* be the way you have decided it is?

Any thoughts?
