[UA] introduction

Hello, everybody.  I've just joined the list.  Not sure yet whether I'll be
sticking around long.  At any rate, I'll lurk to get a sense of the issues
you deal with.

Fact is, I basically have not played any role-playing games in years, and
chances are good that I won't be playing Unknown Armies.  I don't have an
existing group of players to work from, and given my gaming circles and
gaming priorities I'm not likely to build one.

Still, I'm very glad I bought Unknown Armies.  It is one of only two RPG
systems toward which I have had any interest over the past five years.
(The other is Whispering Vault.)  I like it so much I'm actually tempted to
play it.  Hanging around here may help inspire me to paw through the
rulebook more often, and may give me more of a sense of how people play it.

Just for the record, my prior experience with RPGs includes, in order of
time and experience from least to most:  Paranoia, James Bond, (original)
D&D, Empire of the Petal Throne, Call of Cthulhu, and The Fantasy Trip.
