That sounds very very very neat. Please post bits and pieces if you can!
Anyway, I was reading Roger Ebert's "Great Movies" column over at
suntimes.com and came across an interesting quote re: the ten film series
"Decalogue":
"There is a young man who appears in eight of [the films], a solemn onlooker
who never says anything but sometimes makes sad eye contact. I thought
perhaps he represented Christ, but [director] Kieslowski, in an essay about
the series, says, 'I don't know who he is; just a guy who comes and watches
us, our lives. He's not very pleased with us.'"
That immediately caught my eye. I know most people on this list see the
Comte in a very different light, but what if the First and Last Man was
actually power-less rather than power-full?
