[UA] a passing thought...

I guess I never thought of adepts as believing they have
the one TRUE path.

I figured that they were so attuned to their obsessions,
adepts used those tools more than others.

Kind of like Ford/Chevy people. Some people are obsessed
with Ford vehicles. They put up stupid stickers showing a
comic strip character pissing on a Chevy emblem. They only
buy Ford. However, they recognize Chevy vehicles. In
fact, the more reasonable Fordphiles will admit that Chevy
exceeds in some aspects over Ford.

Despite that, these people still buy Fords.

I see magick the same way. The fleshworker is aware of how
the bodybag gets charges. It isn't right for the
fleshworker, though. He must master the flesh through
deliberate means. Playing Russian Roulette is not the same
as controlling your flesh.

Likewise, a bodybag would get no thrill out of running a
knife across his thigh. He may enjoy the sensation if he
got jiggy with it in front of a drunken circus knife
thrower. However, deliberate pain is not his idea of fun.

I guess this narrows down to what the GM feels...much like
"what happens when the 333rd archetype ascends?" It may be
a personal preference. I prefer adepts recognizing each
other's power (except for some real belligerent assholes).
