I don't know that you can really gauge creative effort, and I /do/ know
that there are so many additional factors that it's never possible to
compare "combat-based games" vs. "non-combat-based games." If you're
getting away from combat, cool. I rather like it to be a part of my
games, so I'll include it -- whether in UA or AD&D. :)
