Piggy-backing on Jared's post, 'cause I missed Kevin's.

I'm not sure that this is true.  Obviously, the Comte is a special case in
a variety of ways, and I think it sort of fits the conception of the game
if he's an Avatar.  I'm kind of fond of the notion that the First and Last
Man is filled in the IC by the previous universe's Comte.  It also sort of
tickles me if there are only two levels of the Avatar skill -- 0 and 99%,
and you're at 99% if you're the oldest human being currently alive, and 0
elsewise.
