Thank you, Ben. I thank you, because you've made a well-considered
suggestion that tackles an ugly situation head-on, and that isn't
predicated on the need or desire to be grotesque, vulgar and shocking.
Couched in the terms you've presented, I can see faeries stemming from the
souls of victims of *all* forms of infanticide. This is the sort of angle
needed to give the story a sense of poignancy, similar to the Snowfallen --
one that isn't purposefully ugly and without an avenue of redemption.
I apologise to anyone who feels my posts have been pontificating, but I
think Joe himself put it best -- this game isn't KULT. Hell yes, it should
face tough issues dead-on, but it shouldn't take glee in being just plain
ugly for the sake of being ugly.
